Today's Nails

I know his little bow has broken but he's still my favourite :3
I'm back! Don't worry I am still alive and if you follow me on instagram you'd know I didn't fall off the face of the Earth in the past 10 days, I just had 2 exams, one of which was textiles and it completely took over my life (I'm so glad it's over!). I think they went okay, my French better than my textiles but we'll see I guess, fingers crossed!
Anyways, I have quite a few posts lined up now so I shouldn't be absent again any time soon. I spent yesterday morning painting my nails, I wanted a break from all the revision I'd been doing and for me, painting my nails is relaxing and it makes me happy when they look all pretty and cute. These ones feature pastel tips, little cat faces, nail decals, gems and beads..I kinda went to town on the decoration but I love them sooo sorry not sorry!

I think I'm going to film a video next weekend on how I do my nails if you'd be interested?

Let me know what you think of this design :)

DreamMonstar

I know, I know, I need to stop doing 'Get in my wardrobe' style posts, but I couldn't resist sharing this brand with you guys. I discovered these beauties on instagram and wanted them instantly, I love the tongue-in-cheek humour in the slogans and think they'd be perfect for Summer (when it finally decides to arrive that is!). The only downside is that DreamMonstar are an Australian company and as well as the fact that these tees are not cheap, shipping to the UK costs a whopping £16 (ish), so alas, my heart has been broken and I shall either have to save my pennies for a design that I really love or just go on without that hilarious Unicorn tee..

Den of thieves

Croptop - Primark
Shorts - River Island
Body Chain - River Island
Boots - Topshop Ant boots
Lipstick - Maybelline New York Colour Sensational - 530/Fatal Red

I LOVE MY BODYCHAIN! (AND MY NEW BOOTS!) Oo and my hair is blonde again!

First off, don't panic! My hair is only blonde temporarily, I wanted it to get as light as possible before I tested out the Pravana dye in order to be able to review it fully..plus my roots need doing rather badly so I should probably get that seen to beforehand!
Annnnyways, this is my go-to outfit at the moment, my mum bought me this bodychain and I love how it turns any t-shirt into a statement piece, I know they're expensive but I honestly think it's worth the money 100%, I've worn mine so many times already. I also am in LOVE with my new boots - my friend Sian bought them a while back and as she only ever wore them once, I bought them off her for half the price; they're super comfy and the buckles look really cool both from the side and the front, these are definitely my new staple black boots.

Exam season starts next week so bear with me, I'm trying to shoot outfit posts every weekend so they become a bit more regular!

Summer Wishlist

Glitter Hair Bows - Crown&Glory
Juju Jellies - Mr Shoes
Dunagrees - Rokit
Highwaisted jeans - Topshop Joni

Just a quick post to share my current wishlist with you all, once again I'm going for the 'explosion in a My Little Pony factory' look for S/S 2013 but as usual I plan on mixing it up with some grungier items such as the cutout boots I won on eBay today (hellz to the yeah!). There's two outfits in my head at the moment: one is these vintage-wash highwaisted skinnies, paired with the black Jujus and the Ganesh top I bought in America and the other is these seriously cute dungarees with the pastel pink jujus, a striped crop top and a sparkly lilac hair bow :3
In short, Spring/Summer is just an excuse for me to release my inner 5 year old...

What's on your summer wishlist?

USA Haul: Brandy Melville, UO, All Saints & Drugstore

Cat vest and bralet- Brandy Melville
Tiger top - All Saints
Ganesh top - Urban Outfitters

I'm really excited about this post - 1) because I love everything I got in America and can't wait to share it with you and 2) because when I came home my mum had painted my walls white so my room is now bright and pretty and perfect for taking photos in, I love it and I don't know about you but I can see a massive difference in my pictures already :)
Anyways, onto what I got! We went to Boston last Tuesday and that's where I got all of the clothes you can see here, I fell in love with the tiger print top in All Saints and my Dad said he'd get it for me as a treat, I just think the print is so beautiful and the style and colour of the top is so cool, I can't wait to style it up with denim cutoffs and my leather jacket.
It was on our way to Urban Outfitters that we stumbled across a Brandy Melville store, I had been to the one in NYC before and really liked it so I was excited to see they'd got one in Boston, turns out they'd only been open a couple of days so we timed our visit perfectly. I bought the black cat vest for $15 and the bralet for $19, which is a complete bargain as I know I'm going to get so much wear out of both pieces, that kitty is just so darn cute!
I saw the Ganesh top in Urban Outfitters and really wanted to try it on, it looks really pretty paired with an orange lipstick and I can't wait to wear it in the summer.

Moving onto beauty and drugstore items, I picked up the Covergirl Lash Blast Volume Waterproof and Revlon Colourstay liquid eyeliner from Walmart and after hearing amazing reviews, ordered Pravana pink hair dye and a Real Techniques Expert Face Brush online, also throwing this shimmery nude eyeshadow in my basket which is a shade I've been hunting down for a while now! If you'd like to see any reviews on these products just let me know in the comments!

What do you think of what I got in the USofA?

Juju Jellies

All images c/o Juju jellies & tumblr
I know they say that if you wore the trend first time round, then you should stay well clear of it the second, and yes, when I was around 5 my clear-pink glitter Juju Jellies were the bomb, I used to refer to them as my 'high heels' and wore them all summer long with my butterfly hair clips and capri pants, we've all been there. Twelve years later, Juju Jellies have resurged in the 90s revival of 2013 and I have once again fallen for the pretty pastel colours, bendy soles and promises of glitter and metallicy goodness. I was unsure of this trend at first, but after searching tumblr, pinterest, blogs, etc, I've seen so many girls looking really freakin' cool in these 90s sandals, bringing them straight into the trend-books with frilly socks and light-wash denim. I'm not completely sure I can pull these looks off, but for now I'm surprisingly inspired and can't wait to try a pair on! I love the black and then a pastel colour would be so pretty for Summer...

What do you think of Juju Jellies? Which colour would you go for?
