SABRINA

Bag - LaModa
Shoes - DIY

First of all, apologies for the different backgrounds in this post. We took two sets of photos in this outfit and I couldn't choose between them, I hope it doesn't look too strange!

This is the outfit I put together as part of my collaboration with Rokit Vintage, I went for a 90s vibe (of course) that has ended up making me want to re-watch old episodes of Sabrina the Teenage Witch with the silver velvet top, black silky shirt, purple sunnies and crimped hair. I'm so excited to wear these dungarees throughout summer, I've wanted a vintage pair for ages and these fit me perfectly, they're so easy to throw on and instantly look chic. For vintage-wear, my best advice is just to try on as much as possible! I think I tried on half the store and ended up finding some amazing pieces, all of which were really reasonably priced, way less than you'd pay in Topshop and with a much cooler look. Plus, you get to be one of those people who replies "Oh this? Oh this is vintage honey!" when someone asks where you got your clothes from... and that always makes me feel cool anyway.

BUBBLE POP

Top - Monki
Glasses - Nordstrom
Bag - c/o LaModa
Jelly Platforms - Primark
Socks - Primark

Woaah there is a lot of colour in this post! But a trip to Shoreditch is always an excuse to dress a little crazier than normal, and who could say no to these amaaazing backgrounds? I've wanted to do a shoot here for so long; the street art in Shoreditch is iconic and I need to make the most of it whilst it's on my doorstep.

(FYI, that last shot was initially a piss-take...but I just had to include it...stop judging me)

We took a little trip to Brick Lane this week for a rummage around the shops and for my collab with Rokit vintage (coming soon *ooo*). As is only right, we stayed into the evening and enjoyed what will probably be our last Brick Lane curry of the year - academic not calendar, thank god, I could not wait that long! This area is one of the things I'm going to miss most over the summer and next year when we're not living within walking distance of Shoreditch, so I'm enjoying it whilst I can. Honestly you have to go if you get the opportunity, you can pretty much eat your face off in some of London's most famous curry houses for around a tenner!

DIY - Pastel Fluffy Shoes

Instagram - ellenatlanta

Yep, one day everything I own will be covered in fluff.
I've been planning this DIY for a while now but just wasn't sure how I'd go about it. The other night, I couldn't sleep and decided to just have a go; three broken needles, countless snapped threads and one very messy room later (I kid you not, there was fluff everywhere), I ended up with these beauties!
I'm so obsessed with how these look, they're so much better than I imagined! I can't wait to start styling them up, although I have no idea at the moment what I'm going to wear them with...

Let me know what you think!

Feelin' fancy

Top - Missguided
Culottes - Asos
Choker and circle necklace - Forever21
Bag - Zara

First of all, apologies for the resting bitch face in that first photo.
I've been wanting to shoot this outfit for a while now (actually, I have a list of outfits I've been wanting to shoot for a while) but now that exam stress has lifted a bit I'm hoping that I can stick to posting every other day.
These culottes make me feel so lady-like and fanncyyy, they fit so well and I love the way they look with this simple turtle neck crop and my lace up heels.

I'M BAAACCCK!

Sorry for the hiatus, it wasn't really intentional but I got really sick and then exam season kicked in (boo). The worst of my exams will be over on Thursday but I have such a backlog of things I want to post that I thought I should start now, Chicago posts coming soon!

This look features two lovely prezzies that were waiting for me when I got back from the States, I wore this outfit for a mooch around Covent Garden for my flatmates birthday and really love the combination. We wandered around the shops before dinner at Shake Shack (I'm already craving another) and then took some photos with my new lens. I was so excited to test it out on an outfit shoot and I absolutely love the way these photos look, the bokeh effect makes such a difference to the images.

I hope you've all been well! I've got some really exciting collabs coming up so watch this space!
