So here we have it, the final 'Blogger Love' post of 2014, and what better way to finish off the year than with these babes!

I'll be posting more about 2015 goals/2014 achievements later on this week but for now, have a fab night and a super sassy New Year!

A Lazy Sunday

Jumper - Goodwill
Jeans - Topshop

This is the sort of outfit I wouldn't usually share with you all for fear that it wasn't really 'blog worthy', but in an effort to post more and stop putting restrictions on the content I create, here's a more lazy day, casual outfit for me. Today we just went to a few shops and I umm'ed and ahhh'ed over these shoes in the River Island sale…what do you think, should I get them? I can't think where I'd wear them but they're soo pretty and sort of grabbed my heart when I put them on and my legs were made to look a foot longer (waahh).

Another reason I wanted to post today was because last week I found the perfect pair of white trainers. I love that they're all-white with the Adidas logo just peeping through, they'll be fab now with jeans and cigarette pants but also in the summer with some cute shorts…I'm actually finding them quite handy at the moment with all this ice, these are a lot safer in this weather than a lot of my shoes and I can't face the judging looks you get when you slip in heels and end up on your arse!

What do you think of this outfit?

Happy Sunday!

My Topshop Sale picks

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a fab Christmas: that Santa treated you well and you ate your weight in food, I'm sure I'll be showing you all what I got soon!

I just got back from spending the past few days at my Grandmas in Norfolk and one of the first things I wanted to do when I got home was look through the post-Christmas sales. I got quite a few Topshop vouchers for Christmas so it was my first choice for a browse, I've seen quite a few posts like this but none featured items that were to my taste (clearly I have a thing for sparkles at the moment…well, always really) so I thought I'd throw my two pence in! The sequin jumpsuit would look so sassy for NYE and I love the idea of wearing the sequinned tee and the sequinned shorts together.

What're your favourite sale picks?

Grey Silk

Duster Coat - ASOS (on sale!)
Lace Bralet - Topshop
Black crop - Primark
Belt - Goodwill
Silk Trousers - ASOS White (on sale!)
Shoes - ASOS

I'd been lusting over these silk trousers for months, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend £70 on them. However, it seems that the ASOS fairies were on my side: on a whim the other week, I decided to see if they were still in stock and low and behold, they were half price! I took it as a sign that I just had to have them.
I love the colours in this outfit, it pretty much consists of all my current favourite items - my silver boots and lilac coat especially have become firm favourites in my wardrobe, now I'm lusting over a chunky black duster coat to see me through the colder months.

I really want to try more looks with trouser styles like this, I'm currently lusting after this tartan pair and this pinstripe pair, both from Forever 21!

What do you think of this outfit?

My favourite pink/nude lipsticks

Blankety - Mac

This is the most nude of the bunch, a perfect light shade that pairs so well with a smokey eye, I got this as a Secret Santa present from my laavely flatmate and I've been obsessed ever since. I've been absolutely loving this colour with a chunky turtleneck jumper and some glitter eyeliner along my lower lash line, oo and I've also used it as a contour/blush in all of these photos!

Faux - Mac

This was my first ever Mac purchase on my hunt for that Kylie Jenner pout! For fairer skin tones I think this shade works better than Mehr, Velvet Teddy or Whirl - I tend to wear this with Mac's Dervish lipliner and it creates that perfect nude/brown 90s lip.

Lilac - Bobbi Brown

This was a recent buy, I saw this shade in Harrods and Mum got it for me as an early Christmas present. It's a really pretty cool-toned mid-pink that is so wearable and works really well for fairer skintones - this is probably the brightest lip colour you'll get me to wear regularly…although I might rock a red lip at some point over the festive period!

Naturist - Topshop

I added this lipstick to my Topshop bag to avoid paying for postage…I might as well have a lipstick instead of paying the £4 P&P right? So yeah, I hadn't researched the crap out of it like I did with the Mac shades and to be honest I wasn't really expecting much, oh how wrong I was! I love this shade, I think it would look on everyone. It's quite a sheer nude/pink so would be perfect for someone who is just getting into wearing lipstick, or for a daily 'my lips but better' shade.

What's your favourite lipstick?

Basic Bitch

Top - Brandy Melville
Jeans - Topshop
Boots - ASOS
Necklace - Topshop
White Jade Ring (left hand, middle finger) - ℅ Euphoria Creations

I'm back in Leicester! Staying true to my word I'm making a real effort to continue with regular outfit posting and so yesterday, on a Christmas shopping trip with my boyfriend we went onto the roof of the carpark and shot these photos for you all! It was a bit overcast (you know it's bad when my hair blends in with the sky) but I'm actually really happy with the way these turned out. I'm super glad I've finally found a location I like in town, on a Monday afternoon it was quite empty as well so I avoided the inevitable dodgy looks you get for taking posy photos of yourself in a public place #bloggerproblems

This outfit is just something I've been throwing on to go to uni or on days out like this - you can't really go wrong with black skinnies and stripes! The lilac cocoon coat and silver boots were both birthday presents and along with the statement necklace, add a pop to the basics.

I hope you're all well!

Holographic Nails

OPI Designer Series in Amethyst

Welcome to my latest obsession…I cannot get over this nail polish.

I got acrylics done about 2 weeks ago now and this was an OPI colour they had at the salon, an unnamed shade that I now know was a part of a limited edition series and is no longer available to buy - I can't even find it on eBay *cries*. This is the most perfect, truly holographic polish and to make it even better it's got a lilac/pink base…if I was a nail polish I'd want to be this one.
I was seriously considering going to the salon and trying to bargain with them for it, but I'm scared I'd get carried away and walk out £50 down with the most expensive bottle of half-used nail polish ever bought…

On a side note, sorry for the lack of posts this week, but I got quite sick and had to go home for a while. The plan was to take a series of outfit posts whilst I was here so that I would have some to post over the Christmas period, but because I had to go home I didn't have the time. It's just frustrating as now I feel like I have a backlog of things I want to show you and not enough opportunity to shoot it all, it does however make me more determined to find better ways/places to take my outfit photos back at home, I feel like I've made a lot of progress with my blog recently so I don't want to let that slide! Try and bear with me though :)

Oil Slick

Shoes - Jeffrey Campbell
Purse - Urban Outfitters

Woaaah when the lovely ladies at Lashes of London said this was an oil slick fabric, they really weren't joking! The colours and effect of this piece are totally incredible and constantly change in the light - perfect for an Xmas do! This is the first of a few Christmas/party outfits I'll be posting and I really couldn't pair this sassy piece with anything other than a pair of JCs, it just wouldn't have been right…

What do you think of this two-piece?

Midnight Twilight

Sheer Top - Primark
Jeans - Topshop
Belt - Goodwill
Boots - Asos
Bag - Zara

I recently found this gem of a piece in Primark, a black sheer top that also came with a separate cropped cami, and ever since I've been obsessed with it. It's just a simple piece, but I love the texture that it's added to this outfit over the lace bralet and the slight shimmer it has in the light. Speaking of shimmer, these boots haven't left my feet - who knew shiny boots would go with everything?
