KEEP IT LOCAL

Jeans - Topshop
Shoes - ASOS
Bag - c/o LAMODA
Pompoms - Primark
Sunglasses - Quay

Hey everyone! Hope you've had a great weekend :)

I just wanted to show you the outfit I'm wearing today for the FAD show at LFW. I'll be taking over their social media and posting a show review over on their blog, so make sure you're following them to see that! FAD is a charity that helps young people into the fashion industry and tonight's show will showcase talent from different universities across the UK. I can't wait to see the designs (I've already spied a pink leather jacket that I neeeed) and it's always exciting to see fresh talent on the runway. I think it's really important to promote and support young creatives so I'm really excited to be involved with FAD, I hope you all check them out!

I've collaborated with Local Heroes for this LFW outfit, I absolutely love their pieces and this is such a comfy yet cute look. Their garments are amazing quality and of course, the pastel colour scheme means they're right up my street!

BABY BLUE

Coat - Select via Depop
Top - Miss Selfridge
Jeans - Primark
Trainers - Nike Thea
Sunglasses - Quay Australia
Bag - Nasty Gal
Pompom - Primark
Choker - Forever 21

Just a quick outfit post to show you a few of the items I've been wearing constantly these past few weeks. I got these trainers ages ago from my boyfriend and I wear them constantly, they just add such a cool vibe to an outfit. I love that they're a bit different with the print and they're super comfy for walking around London all day.
I managed to bag this coat on depop for £15 including postage and I haven't really taken it off since it arrived (those of you who follow me on instagram are probably already sick of it). Fluffy coats will always make me feel extra sassy though and I won't stop until I have one in every colour <3

I LOVE YOU BUT...

Jeans - Topshop
Pompoms - Primark
Choker - LAMODA
Sunglasses - Quay Australia

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!
I hope you're all having a lovely day. I've been wanting to shoot against this pink wall near my house for ages now and we just always caught it at the wrong time, with too much sunshine or not enough light. So finally I got some outfit posts here, and what better day to post a pink background and this 'I love you but...' shirt from Bundy and Webster.
Also, how cute does my backpack look with these pompoms on? I saw them in Primark the other week and just had to grab these colours, I haven't seen a lilac one anywhere else!

ALL TIED UP

Jacket - Very
Playsuit - Topshop
Shoes - c/o Simmi
Belt - ASOS
Choker - Forever 21
Bag - Nasty Gal

Good afternoon from a very sunny London!

This outfit is a collaboration with Simmi Shoes, who gifted me these amazing lace up heels. I love that they can be styled in a few different ways, you can really make them as daring as you like with how high up your leg you tie them. The heel is also manageable so you won't be stumbling around after an hour, which is always a bonus!

I styled them with this playsuit and a choker I recently picked up from Forever 21 and have been wearing constantly since. It was originally pre-tied but I cut it to create a single strand that I can tie myself, I either wear it like this or only wrapped once with the charms dangling a bit longer.

Hope you're all having a fab day!

GO EAST

Bralet - Topshop
Shorts - Urban Outfitters
Boots - Primark
Choker & Bag - LA MODA

I don't know how often I've mentioned this but I'm totally obsessed with all things Japanese, so when I saw the adverts for the Hyper Japan Christmas Market I knew I had to go. I got some really cute beauty bits along with this kimono, which is just super pretty and the colours are perfect. I can't wait to wear it a bit more in the summer time (yes, I was rather cold shooting this outfit).

I also took some photos of the girls I saw dressed up at the Hyper Japan Market so I'll publish a blog post with those in soon! Some of the girls there had gone all-out with their 'kawaii' looks and it was just so fab to see their dedication to the style.

Let me know if you'd like to see that?

BELL SLEEVES BIGGER THAN MY FUTURE

Top - Nasty Gal (similar here)
Bra - M&S
Jeans - Primark
Bag - Nasty Gal
Shoes - Forever 21
Pom pom - Primark

Arghhh I have an exam tomorrow! I probably shouldn't be blogging but I needed a break, my exam is on the last day of exam season so I'm almost beyond the point of caring, I just want it over with now! I absolutely love this outfit, it features both of my Nasty Gal purchases from being in the States for Christmas, I am obsessed with this bag and this top is just so sassy. I wish Nasty Gal could just set up a store in the UK already, I'm dying to go to their LA shop one day.
Also, how fab are these coated Primark jeans?? They're almost identical in fit to the Topshop Joni jeans, just leather-look and around a third of the price.

Right, I best get back to revision. Wish me luck!

BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE

Jacket - Zara (similar here)
Boots - Primark
Bag - Primark
Shorts - Urban Outfitters
Belt - Goodwill

Yaaaay finally a new outfit post! Katie and I went to Notting Hill on Friday and shot four outfits so there's lots more content coming from now on. This is quite a simple outfit but it features some of my most worn items at the moment, and some absolute gems from Primark.
My mum got me this coat for Christmas and it is the softest, cosiest jacket on the planet, perfect for the cold weather we're experiencing at the moment in the UK. I got this jumper from Brandy Melville when I was in the US and I am just so in love with their products. They're always great quality, super soft pieces that you can wear with anything. I've been wearing this jumper non-stop recently and it's just a great staple piece.

I'm currently knee-deep in revision so I feel pretty boring at the moment, I hate exam season and just want to get back into a routine with projects to work on. This time is always spent either trying to focus on revising or feeling guilty for not spending time revising...I can't wait until next Friday afternoon when I'll be freeeee.

Good luck to those of you who have exams too!

2015 IN OUTFITS

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

I know I'm a bit late on that but I'm hoping to get back in the swing of things now, I'm currently home for the holidays but I've got outfit shoots planned Thursday and Friday and then by the weekend I'll be back in London so you can expect a return to the pastel backgrounds. I'm not going to lie, I missed blogging but I needed the time off - this whole world can get a bit overwhelming at times, especially alongside a full-time uni course that really threw me in at the deep end last term. I was forced to prioritise and that meant my blog has been a bit neglected recently. That said, that should be my hardest term of the year over now and hopefully that means I can power on through next term without another hiatus.

The blogging industry can be quite an overwhelming place at times, it can be hard not to compare yourself to others and get yourself down when you don't feel like you're making enough progress. I've been getting that way quite a bit recently and it can really affect me, but looking through this summary of my year I can really see the progress I've made. My shoots have started to look a lot more professional and more how I always wanted them to look in my head, so hopefully it's onwards and upwards from here!
