Na na na na na na naaaa

Crop Top - Primark/DIY
Shirt - Miss Selfridge
Shorts - Topshop
Belt - Topshop
Necklace (worn as body chain under top) - Miss Selfridge
Sunglasses - Aldo

With any luck this will post whilst I'm in NYC! (I am so excited right now I could die) I wanted to say a HUUUGE thank you to those of you who commented on my NYC Recommendations post and gave me advise on places to see and go - it was super helpful and I really appreciate it! Extra extra special thanks to Ava Tallulah and Gee Horsfield - they really blew me away with their loveliness and the fact that they'd taken the time to help me out and write such detailed answers! Hopefully I'll discover some treasures and I'll definitely be taking photos to share with you upon my return :)

Now onto the outfit! At least now you know I wasn't lying when I said crop tops are taking over my wardrobe! I especially love the look of body chains underneath them - just a simple touch but it's cool and kinda unexpected. This white crop was just a really quick and easy DIY with a £2.50 Primark tee, it's also shredded up the back but the photo of that wasn't all that attractive, I'll put that down to me being a total freaknuts when it comes to having my photo taken..

Joe took these photos for me just before he left for England last Sunday and I cried like a baby in the airport as soon as he went - yep, just admitted that on the internet too...

Redrock Vintage Blogger Competition!

Shorts - Redrock Vintage!
Lace crop vest - Topshop
Both shoes - Jeffrey Campbell
Studded sleeveless denim vest - The Ragged Priest
Rings and Earrings - Urban Outfitters
Sunglasses - A Morir
Lipstick - Limecrime

Aloha! A lot of you have probably seen these kinda blog posts recently or have even entered yourself, but even so I couldn't resist throwing my 2 cents in and styling up these gorgeous blue and cream floral print shorts from Redrock vintage in order to enter their blogger competition! I really enjoyed creating this outfit (yes I'm still on a summer pastels kick!) and I've fallen in love with this look, especially the contrast between the girly colours and florals with the edgier jacket and JC Litas - if only there was a money tree at the bottom of my garden eh?
For now though, I'm in the process of DIYing those AMAZING sunglasses - they are so so pretty and seem pretty easy to recreate, I'll update you all on the finished product soon! Oo and the Limecrime lipstick will be mine by the time I get back to England, I'll make sure of it!

To enter this awesome competition click here! I've been really inspired seeing all the other entries :)

Enjoy watching the Olympics - I'm feeling rather patriotic and proud to be British right now!

New York Recommendations!?

Hey guys! I need your help! Pretty please with a cherry on top...

I'm super duper excited because on Sunday my Dad, step mum and I are driving from New Hampshire to NYC (arrghhh!) I've been saving my dollars for next week and I hope to go on a crazy shopping expedition (see my wish list here). I've never been before so I've been looking through a guidebook and researching places to go online but they pretty much all come up with the obvious tourist destinations...so far on my list is:

Central Park
Times Square
Soho
Statue of Liberty
Empire State Building
Urban Outfitters (I've heard it's huuugge)

Then I get a bit stuck...sooo I was just wondering if any of you guys have been to NYC and if you have, where would you recommend visiting? I'm after anything you can think of; awesome tourist destinations, cute boutiquey shops, big brand stores, vintage market stalls, cool places to eat...all of your suggestions will be very muchly appreciated!

Remember to spread the loveliness and enter my giveaway if you'd like!

America Wishlist!

Casio Watch - American Apparel // For some reason I'm really into watches at the moment - I found a chunky silver round-faced one today in a flea market that needs a bit of a clean and some love, but it was $3 and hey, for that, you can't really go wrong! I think watches look awesome stacked with bracelets (and even other watches!) so a Casio one like the one pictured would be cool, I've already found some cheaper ones on ebay.

Earrings set - Urban Outfitters // I just love these earrings - they'd be great for mixing and matching and the little moons and yingyang symbols are so cute.

Disco pants - American Apparel // Ahh the bloggers favourite, I tried a pair of these on the other day and wasn't too sure they suited me? Hmm I'm still interested to try them again, I think AA's sizes can be all over the place so hopefully I'll get some luck!

Lipsticks - Limecrime // These lipsticks have been on my wishlist for a while now but as I'm in the States I thought I should give them a go! The packaging is amazing and I'm excited to try the lilac shade - have any of you tried Limecrime lipsticks? They seem to have mixed reviews...

Hoodie - Abercrombie and Fitch // Whilst my boyfriend was going crazy in Abercrombie and Fitch spending his dollars, I tried this hoodie on on a whim as it was reduced to half price, I actually really liked it despite never really feeling myself in hoodies, I just want to think of some styling ideas before buying it... If any of you have ideas I'd love to hear them!

Nail polish - Limecrime // As I was looking at lipsticks on the Limecrime website I started looking through all their other products and saw this gorgeous pastel pink colour - the similar Barry M shade I have has run out so this would be a cool alternative to try out, once again the packaging is perfection! I can't resist that purple unicorn design!

Foundation - YSL Touche Eclat Foundation // This foundation has had so many amazing reviews and instead of buying the pricey full sized bottle straight away I'm hoping to get a sample to try - I've been looking for a foundation that'll give me a dewy glow whilst hydrating my dry skin so hopefully this will become a holy grail product.

Hair clips // These could be from anywhere, I just think they look really cute holding a section of hair back :)

I hope you're all having an amazing summer! Don't forget to Spread the Loveliness!

All I ever wanted was the world...

Top - Topshop
Belt - Next
Shorts - Topshop
Jewellery - assorted
Bra - Topshop

I've been debating over whether or not to post this outfit but it's been 5 days and I decided I owed you all a post! At the moment I really love the whole 'muscle top' look with the oversized arm holes and a pretty bra showing, especially this bra which I am head over heels in love with design wise - it's not the most practical of things but it's preeetttyyy so I can let that go!
I've finally decided the giveaway prizes so that should hopefully get posted on Friday morning before I set off! These next couple of days will be extra busy as I try to fit a month's worth of clothes, shoes and accessories into 1 suitcase...my boyfriend seems to think taking 7 pairs of shoes is slightly excessive? Haha I may have to cut down...

I hope you're all having a wonderful summer and that you're enjoying the rare moments of sunshine we are currently experiencing in the UK :)

Don't forget to spread the loveliness!

My eBay shop!

Pink and white spiral tie-dye crop top with shoulder studs - size medium (hence why it's a bit long on me, if you're smaller and want it shorter I'm happy to alter it)

Pale pink, pink, purple and blue spiral tie-dye t-shirt - size medium slim fit

Grey and blue spiral tie-dye crop top - size small

White and lilac marble tie-dye t-shirt - size small slim fit

Baby pink sweater with studded crosses - size small/medium

Woo! These are the first few items in my eBay store - they're all starting at fairly low prices so I hope you all check them out and let me know which ones you like! I chose to use eBay because it offers a variety of payment methods and provides a more temporary store set up before I go to America - I'm planning on taking all these offline when I leave in 2 weeks so hopefully I'll sell most things before then :) Even if I don't, I've made these items so that I'd happily wear them myself, I think they're perfect for summer and I love the colours! The cross jumper and grey and blue crop top are my personal favourites!

On a side note I'm also selling my prom dress, I don't see myself wearing it again so it might as well go to a new home...
Jones and Jones pink Audrey Dress - size 8 (sold out online)

Anyways I hope you all like these and maybe place a bid (hint hint) if you do :)

Have a lovely weekend!
