BEYONCE AND JAY-Z OTR II WITH DEBENHAMS

Hey guys!

Long time no post! I've had so much going on recently - from moving jobs, moving apartments and finally graduating from university with a First Class Honours degree (!), BUT, I had to take the time to tell you all about the INCREDIBLE experience I had on the 15th June, when the lovely team at Debenhams treated myself and many other bloggers to a VIP experience at Beyoncé and Jay-Z's OTR II show in London.

It was one of the highlights of my blogging career thus far and definitely the best concert I have ever been to, I'm still totally amazed that starting this blog all those years ago has led to me being able to have these experiences. It was definitely a pinch me moment, and you can see all the highlights below!

Dress - Miss Selfridge (via Debenhams)*
Boots - Steve Madden (via Debenhams and 50% off!)*
Shirt - Goodwill
Necklace - Forever21

The theme for the night was Debenham's collection of little black dresses. I picked out this bodycon Posh Spice number by Miss Selfridge (only £10!) and paired it with a light satin shirt from Goodwill, just to use as a cover up in case it got chilly in the open air stadium.
I knew from the offset I wanted some over the knee boots to pair my dress with (got to bring that Beyoncé sass!) and found this STUNNING Steve Madden pair half price in the sale! I got compliments on them all night - they're real suede, just the right heel height to be comfy AND have a tie at the back which means they aren't constantly falling down your leg. You can really feel the quality in these boots - I've got a couple of cheaper pairs and I just can't wear them anymore as they're stretched and fall down easily. These are perfect and definitely worth the extra investment!

I felt like a million bucks in this outfit and am so excited to wear it again!

Here's a pic of all of us in our Debenhams LBDs! The girls were all lovely and I really enjoyed getting to know them all.

The show was incredible, I was just in awe of Beyoncé the entire time. They performed a collection of their best songs, from 00s throwbacks to Lemonade and 4:44. We were dancing and singing along the whole time, they didn't once stop performing or leave us waiting. I wish I could watch it again and again and again.

One of the major highlights for me was receiving this photo book at the end of the evening. I had commented that I wanted to try and find one when the concert was over, because the visuals in the show were so beautiful. Little did I know, they had copies waiting for us in the lounge to take home. I now need to buy a coffee table just to display this on! The photography is so stunning and I will definitely be treasuring this momento forever.

Thank you so much to the lovely Debenhams team! You really made my night special and gave me an experience I will never forget!

What's the best concert you've ever been to?

YOGA AT THE SKY GARDEN: A LOT OF WORK FOR ONE INSTAGRAM PHOTO

Sticking my bum in the air, paranoid that the guy behind could see my pants through my leggings, getting increasingly confused by my own breathing as we did mountain climbers for the fourth time, I thought, when is this meant to get relaxing?

Yoga at the Sky Garden seems like a wonderful idea. Views of the city, a relaxing workout and a dreamy sunrise photo-op should be the perfect start to any millennial’s Saturday, right? Wrong.

I’ll be honest, I mainly went for the Instagram photos. As yoga becomes increasingly #ontrend, the more imaginative the better. I wasn’t quite ready for Goat Yoga just yet, this was my ‘gentle start’, but a few minutes in, I realised this was going to be one very long hour.

Whilst laying on our backs, the instructor announced that we should all move into ‘wheel position’. The what? Now, I was in trouble. I couldn’t sit up to see the instructor doing her demonstration because that would just be awkward and show me up as a complete novice, but also, I hadn’t got a fucking clue what was going on.

So, I did the next best thing, peering around at my classmates to try and work out the pose…only to find they were all doing different things. THANKS GUYS.

I ended up improvising with a sort of, holding my bum off the ground whilst laying down, super flattering on the double chin type move, whilst the instructor smiled down at me sympathetically.

“Just relax, locate any areas of the body that feel tense,”

Right okay. My left leg is a bit sore actually. Got it.

“And just breeaaathhe into that part of the body,”

Breathe into it? Breathe into my leg? I really did try. Leaning my body slightly to the left as if to guide the air down from my lungs (because apparently that’s a thing) before coming to the sensible conclusion that you just can’t breathe into your fucking leg can you? And no, I still wasn’t finding any of this relaxing.

“Just breeeathe, feel the Earth beneath you,”

I am literally at the top of a skyscraper 500ft in the air, I couldn’t be much further away from the Earth if I tried. I got up at 5am to come here and have a relaxing time and I am honestly feeling so attacked right now.

After an hour of heavy breathing, weird chanting and trying my best to be the insta-blogger babe I’d always wanted to be, I ordered some scones in the overpriced café, went home and got straight back into bed. Now that is my idea of relaxing.

KEEP IT LOCAL

Jeans - Topshop
Shoes - ASOS
Bag - c/o LAMODA
Pompoms - Primark
Sunglasses - Quay

Hey everyone! Hope you've had a great weekend :)

I just wanted to show you the outfit I'm wearing today for the FAD show at LFW. I'll be taking over their social media and posting a show review over on their blog, so make sure you're following them to see that! FAD is a charity that helps young people into the fashion industry and tonight's show will showcase talent from different universities across the UK. I can't wait to see the designs (I've already spied a pink leather jacket that I neeeed) and it's always exciting to see fresh talent on the runway. I think it's really important to promote and support young creatives so I'm really excited to be involved with FAD, I hope you all check them out!

I've collaborated with Local Heroes for this LFW outfit, I absolutely love their pieces and this is such a comfy yet cute look. Their garments are amazing quality and of course, the pastel colour scheme means they're right up my street!

BABY BLUE

Coat - Select via Depop
Top - Miss Selfridge
Jeans - Primark
Trainers - Nike Thea
Sunglasses - Quay Australia
Bag - Nasty Gal
Pompom - Primark
Choker - Forever 21

Just a quick outfit post to show you a few of the items I've been wearing constantly these past few weeks. I got these trainers ages ago from my boyfriend and I wear them constantly, they just add such a cool vibe to an outfit. I love that they're a bit different with the print and they're super comfy for walking around London all day.
I managed to bag this coat on depop for £15 including postage and I haven't really taken it off since it arrived (those of you who follow me on instagram are probably already sick of it). Fluffy coats will always make me feel extra sassy though and I won't stop until I have one in every colour <3

I LOVE YOU BUT...

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!
I hope you're all having a lovely day. I've been wanting to shoot against this pink wall near my house for ages now and we just always caught it at the wrong time, with too much sunshine or not enough light. So finally I got some outfit posts here, and what better day to post a pink background and this 'I love you but...' shirt from Bundy and Webster.
Also, how cute does my backpack look with these pompoms on? I saw them in Primark the other week and just had to grab these colours, I haven't seen a lilac one anywhere else!
